Phi Sigma is devoted to the promotion of research and academic excellence in the biological sciences. Since its inception in 1915 at Ohio State University, Phi Sigma has grown to 41 active chapters with approximately 45,000 members.

Eligibility for the EKU's chapter is an overall of 3.0 GPA at EKU and an expressed interest in the biological sciences. Phi Sigma sends out invitation letters to join the chapter at the beginning of each Fall semester. So, check your mailboxes!
