The Kentucky Bird Records Committee
The Kentucky Bird Records Committee serves
to help determine the validity of records of rare birds in Kentucky, maintain
the documentation for these records, and publish summaries of the committee's
deliberations. All records of birds on the KBRC Review List (below) should
be documented on the KBRC
Report Form (Form
in pdf format) and sent to the KBRC Secretary, Ben Yandell (email: secy@kybirdrecords.org; regular mail: 513 Lymington Ct., Louisville, KY 40243). Also, any bird not previously recorded
in Kentucky requires documentation, and any bird that is 'out of season'
or is observed in a part of the state where it does not normally occur
should be documented. Photographs, sketches, and/or videos enhance the
documentation of any bird and should be supplied when possible.
