The Department of Biological Sciences offers both Bachelors and Masters degrees.
Undergraduate programs include: Biology, Biology-Teaching,
Environmental Studies, and Wildlife Management. Pre-professional curricula include
Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, & Forestry. Our
undergraduate curricula provide students with a solid foundation in biology
plus the knowledge and excitement generated by recent research. At the M.S.
level, we offer coursework and research opportunities in aquatic biology, animal
behavior & ecology, plant systematics & ecology, wildlife & conservation
biology, cellular & molecular biology, and microbiology.
Our faculty place a high priority
on both Teaching and Research as several have been recognized for Excellence in both areas.
